STIHL KombiSystem Power-Units
In business for over 90 years, Germany-based STIHL manufacture some of the finest garden machines ever produced, and their KombiSystem power-units and attachments are no exception. Whether you’re an enthusiastic amateur, or a hardened commercial landscaper, we have a STIHL Kombi power-unit to suit. Engine power-outputs range from 1.1hp up to 1.4hp, and you can choose between ‘loop’ and ‘cowhorn’-handled versions.
STIHL 4-Mix Engine Technology
Many of our STIHL Kombi power-units feature STIHL 4-Mix engines. These cutting-edge motors run on a fuel-oil mixture and combine the advantages of two- and four-stroke technologies, producing four-stroke levels of power and torque, without being weighed down by an oil-pump or sump. They’re quieter-running and more fuel-efficient than conventional two-stroke engines, and they produce fewer noxious exhaust emissions.

Below is a rundown of just some of STIHL’s KombiSystem attachments:
– Straight-Shaft Grass-Trimmer Attachment
Equipped with a twin-line strimmer head, the STIHL grass-trimmer attachment is ideal for putting the finishing touches to those lawn edges and tree bases once you’ve finished mowing. Advancing the line couldn’t be easier – simply tap the cutter-heads on the ground!
– Metal-Blade Brushcutter Attachment
The STIHL brushcutter attachment is equipped with a super-sharp metal blade that will slice through heavily overgrown vegetation like the proverbial hot knife through butter. Not suitable for trimming around obstacles.
– Adjustable Long-Reach Hedgetrimmer Attachment
Providing extra reach and boasting an angle-adjustable cutter-bar, this attachment makes it easy to tackle high hedges and low ground-cover. The blades are double sided and can be folded along the shaft for space-saving storage and transport.
– Pole-Pruner Attachment
The pole-pruner attachment is essentially a compact chainsaw head mounted at the end of a long shaft. With it hooked-up to your STIHL KombiSystem power-unit (‘loop’ handled models only), you’ll be able to cut-back potentially hazardous overhanging branches without resorting to unstable ladders or costly cherry-picker hire.
