The 1538H SD lawn tractor is a versatile, highly manoeuvrable and powerful side discharge tractor. It also has the equivalent of a cars automatic transmission, that’s right with the hydrostatic transmission it makes it smooth and slick. The 98cm cutting width, makes light work of any lawn up to 2 acres.

The 1538H SD lawn tractor is powered by a Stiga 414cc ST400 petrol engine with a net power output of 7.1kw and 2800rpm. The twin blade cutting deck with a 98cm cutting deck, ensures a superior cut with clippings being blown out to the side through the side discharge chute. Or as an alternative you could choose to mulch the grass clippings using a mulching plug/plate (sold separately). Mulching is when the grass clippings are finely cut and blown back down onto the lawn to decompose and return valuable nutrients to the soil, giving you a natural fertiliser. Keeping the lawn tractor deck clean can be quite a chore, but with the 1538H SD you just attach your hose pipe to the deck nozzle, turn the water on, engage the blades and you will quickly have a clean deck and blades ready for the next time. A wide range of accessories are available separately, a simple tow hitch can make this lawn tractor extremely versatile in all seasons.
