Description

The Mountfield 1740H twin lawn tractor is powered by a 586cc twin cylinder engine and with hydrostatic transmission, the 1740H is a tremendous garden tractor ideal for lawns up to and over 2.5acres.

With smooth forward gear changes from a standing start to 8.8km/h and with electromagnetic blade engagement, it is easy to use and highly efficient. Clippings can either be collected in the voluminous 290 litre collector fitted at the rear of the garden tractor, or after fitting the mulching plug (sold separately) with the garden tractor, can be finely cut as you mow and discharge back onto the lawn surface. Once there they rot down adding vital nutrients back into the soil, giving you a natural fertilizer. If using the collector emptying is easy and can all be done from the drivers seat. Seven different blade heights are possible meaning the 1740H can tackle every lawn length with ease.
