Description
The FSA90 R is a powerful and lightweight cordless brushcutter for working on large areas of tough grass and mowing around obstacles, trees, and posts. The FSA90 R has a cutting diameter of 380mm with the Autocut mowing head 25-2 that comes standard with this brushcutter. With a loop handle and a single strap harness it makes this brushcutter easy to manoeuvre when in use.
Features
Hanging loop, so you are able to hang your brushcutter securely on a wall to save space.
Safety locking button, which you can lock the device, preventing the grass trimmer starting unintentionally when a live battery is inserted.
Stihl electric motor is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. It runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing.
Loop handle is ideal for working in confined spaces, such as tidying between shrubs and bushes.
Tool protection cover for occupational safety and protection of the flail head.
Stihl ecospeed enable the user to control the brushcutter engine speed individually on the operating handle.
Basic harness comes as standard with the FSA90 R, for less tiring and safer work.

Pro’s. Easy to use, quite light, easy to assemble the components that arrive in a box. Does the job asked of it.
Con’s A bit limp, takes three times as long to strim long grass as a 25 year old Shihl petrol unit, battery life a bit disappointing, we have 2 x AP300 6aH batteries that we also use on the lawn mower. Not only does it take longer but you have to wait for the battery to charge, you can flatten battery No 2 long before No 1 charges up.
I think that when we have the grass under control life will be a lot easier. My petrol unit is temperamental, quite tiring and does not always start hence the switch to battery and the reason for the long grass. Time will tell. If you have a lot of long grass, banks, brambles etc, try sticking with petrol but if you are the wrong side of 70, as I am, then battery is probably the way to go and just be patient.
