Description

This STIHL FS240 has multi-function controls, a bike handle for easy manoeuvring. The FS240 is ideal for horticultural and agricultural work. This trimmer comes standard with an Auto-cut 25-2 head which has two lines perfect for mowing and clearing work and grass cutting blade 230-4, great for mowing tough, dry grass and reeds. Mower lines are automatically extended by tapping the mowing head on the ground.

Features

Manual fuel pump, the fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, this reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operation.

Stihl Ergo Start, this cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. It also features an air filter with long service life, meaning it can go for longer intervals without changing.

An anti-vibration system which stops the intense vibration at the handles.

ADVANCED universal, with its soft padding it makes work more comfortable during longer jobs, and works great with the bike handles enabling a smooth mowing action.

Simplified starting system, simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer, pull the starter cord and away you go. The running machine then switches off after a brief press of the stop button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically, therefore the ignition is always ready for starting.

Tool free handle adjustment the central wing nut enables easy adjustment without the use of tools. The handle can be rotated 90o, making it easy to transport and store.

Large fuel tank, a transparent fuel tank with a volume of 0.75l ensures long working intervals with fewer fuel stops.

Multi-function control handle, allowing easy access to the controls, which can all be controlled by using just one hand.
