The Husqvarna R 420TsX AWD rider is a powerful, high performing All-Wheel-Drive mower that can easily manage large lawns, tight turns, and inclines. The rider comes with the unique Husqvarna Xchange attachment frame that allows the user to quickly change attachments without the use of tools. The different attachments that work with the R 420TsX create a versatile machine that can be used for numerous tasks all year long. The rider can be connected via Bluetooth to the Husqvarna Connect app providing easy monitoring of your machine and its servicing needs. Husqvarna makes sure to provide a comfortable user experience with a premium adjustable high-backed seat complete with armrests, adjustable and ergonomic steering wheel, and intuitive and easy to reach controls.

Features

The R 420TsX is simple to start, no choking needed. Simply turn the key and off you go.

The All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) creates traction on uneven or slippery surfaces, and slopes. The AWD can automatically adjust the traction on all four wheels depending on the situation.

The power assisted steering makes it easier and less strenuous to drive the rider. The steering wheel has comfortable and defined grips, as well as a knob for a more comfortable steering experience. You can quickly adjust the steering wheel height without the need for tools.

The Xchange Unique function makes it easy to switch between attachments without the need for tools.

There are a wide range of cutting decks and accessories that can be paired with the R 420TsX AWD, providing a versatility of uses that mean the rider can be used all year round.

The rider has a low centre of gravity which provides both good traction and a comfortable driving position for the user.

The R 420TsX comes with a premium sliding, angled seat. It is fully adjustable while seated and can be moved forward or backwards and upwards or downwards. The chair comes with a high back and armrests on some models. The seat can be tipped to protect it from the rain and is self-draining to prevent water build up.

The dual LED headlights provide an enlarged lighted area, giving improved visibility both near and remote. This makes using the R 420TsX safe, even in the dark.

The HMI display unit communicates intuitively with the driver through visual symbols and warning sounds. The display gives real time data and warnings which can assist the user in handling the rider.

The cutting decks provide BioClip® (mulching).  BioClip® can be used to aid lawn fertilisation, by mulching the grass and respreading it onto the lawn. Mulching is especially useful in the drier months as it helps to prevent drought.

Speed and direction are controlled by two-foot pedals, meaning you never have to take your hands off the wheel.

The R 420TsX comes with a rear mounted engine. This gives the user a greater view of the mowing area, with less noise and emissions affecting the driver.

There are four large 16” wheels which provide stability, riding comfort, and protects delicate surfaces.

The rear axle pivots to give maximum traction and a smooth ride, even over uneven surfaces.

The cutting deck is front mounted, allowing for greater accessibility into corners, under plants, and under obstacles. As soon as you lower the cutting deck, the blades begin cutting automatically.

The cutting deck itself has pivoting support wheels for smoother turns. They also help to prevent damage to the lawn.

The floating cutting deck follows the contours of the land, thereby preventing scalping.

The controls are intuitive and easily accessible, designed for the ease and comfort of the user.

There is an easily accessible, lever-mounted, cutting height adjustment for improved ergonomics. The spring-assisted cutting deck makes adjustment easier.

The service position on the cutting deck allows for easy cleaning and servicing.

That are double 12V outlet sockets on the rider so that you can charge electrical equipment, batteries, and phones whilst working.

There is a practical cargo holder on the rear of the rider. It is within easy reach of the 12V outlets so you can charge handheld battery items whilst mowing. There are railings and fixing hooks on the engine hood which can be added to with a luggage rack kit. This allows you to carry extra equipment with you.

The rider comes equipped with a heater exchange which cools the hydraulic system. This helps to keep the oil temperature within safe limits.

The rider comes with the smartphone app, Husqvarna Connect. The app gives access to manuals, spare part recommendations, and helpful tips. The app can connect to the rider via Bluetooth to provide information on runtime, charging status, maintenance, and service needs.
