I haven’t owned a Husqvarna saw for over 30 years so it was a joy to find the saw to be as good as I remembered them. It is well balanced and powerful. Easy to assemble, the build quality is excellent. From box to starting it was about 10 minutes, made easier with the primer that comes as standard on most saws today.
In use, it was a straightforward workhorse that made a tough job that much easier. It is a slightly heavier saw than I have been used to of late but don’t see that as a criticism. Its weight made cutting that much easier and it really is a case of letting the saw do the job. There is some vibration off the saw but, even after an hour of almost continual use, my arms and gingers had no ill effects so the vibration you do feel is not harmful (if you know, you know!)
To sum up, a great saw that will likely punch above its weight and is excellent value for money. Add to that, great service from the Linton depot made the whole buying experience great.
