As we look to the year ahead and start planning our shows and events for 2023, we can’t help but look at some of the amazing things we got to do last year.
Back in November, we were lucky enough to be able to invite 20 of our customers across Kent Sussex and Surrey join us in a trip to France to visit the Massey Ferguson factory and the renowned SIMA show.
After an early start, and travelling by coach north of Paris, we arrived at Beauvais factory. As one of the biggest AGCO owned tractor manufacturing sites in Europe, the Beauvais factory is made up of 4 sites with additional expansion underway. They generate an output of up to 20,000 tractors a year and earlier this year built their 1 millionth tractor since opening in 1960.
Our customers were able to see the production line in each section allowing them to fully appreciate what goes into creating the amazing S series tractors. After the tour we headed into Paris for dinner and drinks, before drifting off to sleep ready for another fully packed day.
The following day we travelled to visit the SIMA show in Paris. The SIMA show is one of the biggest agricultural shows in Europe showcasing a wide range of agricultural machinery. It’s here you can get a glimpse of new models and technologies, as well as seeing the winners of various prestigious awards. It was here that the Massey Ferguson 5S series won the Farm Machine 2023 award.
While attending, our customers were able to participate in the MF experience getting a chance to drive some of the newer models and seeing what they are truly capable of in both practical and fun way.
