Description

The Stihl MS241 C-M 16” petrol engine chainsaw is great for harvesting thin wood, this is a great machine as it’s got a powerful engine performance with a low weight.

This MS241 is a lightweight chainsaw weighing in at only 3.9kg, and along with its efficient and economical 2 mix engine with exhaust emissions being reduced by 50%. Thanks to the advanced combustion technology it gives you lower fuel consumption results and high torque across an extensive rpm range.

It features a compensator controller preventing the fuel-air mixture getting richer as the air filter becomes clogged. Meaning the filter doesn’t need to be cleaned until there a noticeable drop in power occurs. With Stihl’s anti-vibration technology, it has a 2.9m/s2 /2.9/s2 vibration level making it easy to handle due to the lower vibration levels, which helps in reducing arm fatigue and making it easier to manoeuvre. This chainsaw features a PS chain type which has a pitch of 3/8” P this ensures a reduced kick-back for the user. The Stihl MS241 has a long-life air filter system with routing, this will enable the filter to have a longer service life compared to regular air filter systems.
Thanks to the side mounted chain tensioning it this removes the need to contact with the sharp saw chain. Along with a tool free filler cap so opening/locking of fuel and oil tanks can be used without the need of other tools.

The MS241 comes with Stihl M-Tronic, this is a fully electronic engine management system which adjusts ignition timing and fuel metering in all operating modes. It also takes into account external conditions such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality. Thanks to electronic cold/warm start recognition, now there is only one start position on the combi lever, meaning the engine starts with fewer pulls and can immediately accelerate up to speed even after a cold start. The M-Tronic also remembers the settings from the last time the tool was used.
