Description
The Mountfield S42R is a battery powered mower with plenty of oomph and one capable of producing that quintessential striped look on your lawn.
The 1500W motor is powered by a rechargeable 80V lithium-ion battery, we recommend the 80V 4ah battery that is available to purchase separately, however the charger is included. With a 41cm width cutting blade makes light work of smaller lawns and the five cutting heights, all easily adjusted using a central lever, allowing it to cut most lengths of grass. Clippings can be collected in the 55 litre canvas hard topped collection bag and being battery powered the S42R PD LI is quieter and more eco friendly than other mowers powered by petrol.

Although listed as Mountfield, it is a Stiga mower in looks and documentation and uses a Stiga battery.
I`m really pleased with it’s performance and range. It is simple to operate and the results are excellent.
I see no reason to go back to a petrol mower.
The delivery from Agwood was very fast via dpd.
