FENCING

FENCING

Building a fence can be difficult and time consuming. Between handling awkward panels, digging post holes and getting everything level. We have the right fencing tools for you to make the task easier.

At Agwood we stock a range of “must have” fencing tools to make you more efficient. These include:

  • Fence Post Hole Diggers

Heavy duty post hole diggers from Draper can correctly and efficiently make perfectly sized holes at the correct depth. A manual post pole digger will let you dig straight into the ground without creating round and large craters that may need refilling.

These are most common tools for digging holes for mailboxes, fence posts, and other similar projects. They are the easiest to operate and most portable

  • Fence Post Hole Augers

You need a post hole auger for making fence post holes when the ground is particularly heavy or difficult to dig with a post hole digger. Manufactured from tubular steel with a handle and auger screw it can make light work by using a corkscrew action to dig the fencing post hole.

  • Fence Wire Tensioning Tools

You need a fence wire tensioning tool for tensioning wire (including barbed wire) before you staple the wire onto wooden fencing posts. Draper fence wire tensioning tools are manufactured from carbon steel hardened and tempered with a long handle for optimum leverage with a pivoting ‘Durbar’ steel locating foot to grip any post type whilst tensioning your wire.

  • Fencing Pliers

Draper fencing pliers are manufactured from carbon steel with a smooth and polished head. The head incorporates a striking face similar to a hammer. They provide a staple removing hook with a pincer and clamp on the top jaw. The ergonomic and cushioned grips on the inside of the handles are for straining and twisting wire and it comes with two shear type wire cutters.

  • Fencing Post Levels

The Draper post level is rigid and is made from durable re-inforced ABS plastic. It’s been designed to plumb pipes, posts, level RSJ’s and any other application where vertical or horizontal accuracy is required. It has four powerful magnetic pads attached for working with steel posts and is fitted with a strong elastic band for fixing to non-magnetic surfaces. There are two horizontal and one plumb tubular acrylic vial for convenience with an accuracy of 0.1deg (1.75mm/M).
